“My 23 year old gelding LOVES Redmond Rock on a Rope. I will only buy Redmond, it’s the best out there.”
Debi K. 5 star review
““We train over 40 horses that spend a lot of time in the winner’s circle. After testing Redmond Rock, our horses blossomed–they consumed more salt and drank more water, their performance improved and their hoof quality and hair coat began to look terrific.”

Horses love Redmond Rock.
Horses thrive on the minerals Redmond Rock provides. In many cases, when given the rock for the first time, mineral deficient horses won’t leave it alone! The minerals in Redmond Rock can help restore and bring your horse back into his natural mineral balance. The rope makes it convenient to hang above the water tank, on a fence post, or in the stall.
A hydrated horse is a healthy horse
In order to be hydrated a horse needs two things:
Water
Horses need to drink at least 10 gallons of water per day. In order to do this, they need a trigger to drink. Salt provides that trigger to drink. Since horses love the taste of Redmond Rock, they lick it more and then drink more water.
Electrolytes
Electrolytes (sodium, chloride, magnesium, calcium, potassium) are essential for hydration. Your horse’s body needs those electrolytes to regulate hydration and allow for proper muscle and tissue function. Redmond Rock has all the electrolytes the way nature created them, making it a great choice for keeping your horses hydrated.
