I grew up on a farm and cattle ranch in the mountains of southern Utah. The love for the outdoors, farming, livestock and horses was deeply embedded in me at a young age. So much so, that when my dad decided to spend the next 30 great years in the building construction industry, I never did shake off the love for farming, horses and livestock. That’s why Sherrie and I built our home and started our life on the same farm I grew up on. I spent my early married years growing feed crops, caring for livestock, riding horses and pursuing my business education at night and on weekends. Ten years ago I was invited to join the Redmond Team. There are pivotal moments and decisions that come along in life and joining the Redmond Team was one of those pivotal decisions for me. I have spent all of my Redmond years involved in the Agricultural and Equine markets, though I have for the most part, traded my tractor seat and saddle for a desk and coach seat on an airplane. I am finding that whether at 30,000 ft. in an airplane, or on the back of a horse, life is wonderful!
Country folks at heart, Sherrie and I are raising our daughter and 3 sons in rural bliss (well…mostly bliss). In our discretionary time you might find us getting our heart rate up at the gym, sitting as a family in church, water skiing, 4 wheeling, camping, fishing, hunting, praying or playing in a garage band. There is much good in the world and we love life!
